Accidents at Samruk-Energo down 6x: helmet cameras and video analytics
Samruk-Energo has summed up its H1 2025 occupational safety results: workplace accidents fell 6x year-on-year. Chairman of the Management Board Kairat Maksutov noted the positive trend and instructed subsidiary heads to tighten safety compliance, betting on proactive, risk-prevention measures.
In H1 the group expanded its electronic medical examination system (ESMO), purchased helmet cameras and video badges, and started rolling out an AI-powered Video Analytics project. Open-pit dump trucks at the Bogatyr mine received an Anti-Sleep system. H2 plans include automatic fire suppression for trucks, dashcams, updated PPE standards and Occupational Safety Leader training for subsidiary management.
For Best Vision this is an industry signal: energy flagships are betting on the “wearable cameras + AI analytics” bundle — exactly what the W10F smart helmet and the event analytics platform deliver: field video, voice and telemetry, automatic violation detection and an objective event archive.
